Vp9 codec not working anymore on netflix anyone else have same problem

for a long time there i was recording in the vp9 codec on netflix and i really enjoyed the picture and size that it offered,it stopped working some months ago when chosen it gives me the same size as the h264 and when done downloading it says it changed it to that h264 codec.im using the same pc i was always on also have done a reinstall didnt help figure netflix just blocked it somehow?

Like H265, VP9 was never offered for all content ..
.. in this case the (wrong) H264 offer is shown.
Of course, attempting to dl it anyway does not change the offer.

I can confirm that I am also not receiving any VP9 offers
for series that I already received in VP9
(regardless of whether v7 or v6).

Therefore, I suspect that NF has withdrawn from VP9.

I always had issues with Netfix and h265, they finally removed most h265 now.
I quickly went to av1 and av1 works well, the main issue using av1 is for some unknown crazy reason it takes a very long time for SF to analyze each and every item in the download queue. Adding a major time delay in downloading from Netfix.

But then again seems there are also still weird issues with Peacock and Hulu.
I usually forget as there are so many issues in general with SF.
