DRM error messages streamfab 7.0.0.8

I get all kind of error messages with the new update on several streamingservices. DRM off and so forth. Something is really broken with the new update.

When i go back to streamfab 7.0.0.6 i get no DRM off messages and videos play fine. Only with version 7.0.0.8 i get DRM Off and the vidoes will not play.

After updating to 7.0.0.8 i got logged out of all streamingservices too. That never happend before. All my webhistory in SF was gone. It completely wiped everything.

After going back to 7.0.0.6 all my history was back and still logged into the streamingservices.

Is there a bug in the update process so it installs the wrong version for my pc? This update really messed up.

alltiallomejl Did you download the 7008 EXE from the Apple thread? If so, go back to the pinned threads and get the EXE in a dedicated post for 7008. I had problems with other services when I used the “Apple” EXE, but using the download from the dedicated thread resolved my issues.

Same for me - this is because the Browser Update:

CEF (Chromium Embedded Framework) has been updated to 142.0.7444.135

Yes! All I get is a blank screen after the update!!!!! Every website that I try all it will do is go to a blan white screen!!!

I did some testing, it may help someone else … i used the “update download” within streamfab and i get errors and non-playable videos. Then i downloaded the “online-version of 7.0.0.8” and still DRM errors and non-playable videos and Amazon browser error.

Then i downloaded the standalone installer of Streamfab (offline-version). NOW IT WORKS. NO DRM errors and no errors on Amazon. Something is going wrong with “update” and online-version of installer. I tested on 2 PC´s and now it works.

Devs, please look into this.

alltiallomejl I also initially used the built in pop-up update method and was getting errors, so I tried using the standalone offline one from the thread and it gave me the same errors unfortunately. Going back to 7.0.0.6 is the only thing that worked for me

Update: 7.0.0.6 is giving me the same errors now, actually. I can’t play anything on any service.

That’s why all experienced users advise against it
and recommend the offline installer
