Streamfab 7.0.0.9 opens NOTHING, just blank pages

After yet another slew of random errors that this software seems to invent on an hourly basis, I uninstalled, downloaded, and reinstalled at the 7.0.0.9 version.

Upon start-up, EVERY service I tried to open merely displayed a blank page and stopped dead in its tracks. No error, no explanation, no nothing. Only 5 minutes earlier with the older version, it was not doing this.

Thinking that my download of the new 7.0.0.9 version may have been corrupted somehow, I downloaded the installation file a second time and went through the whole process again, with the same result. Blank white pages across the board with zero indication of why or what went wrong or whether it’s even really trying to connect to anything. I’ve confirmed that Streamfab is still on my firewall exceptions list, to access the internet as needed. And yes, I deleted all log and temp files before startup, and they remain empty so there is no log file for me to attach here. AND I re-started the computer.

What IS this nonsense?

I will try to check later. But from what I recall using 7009 earlier today the tabs open, and yes can take up to a few minutes at times to load, but then do load.
This only happens when you shutdown streamfab, then start it up and then does it once for each provider opened.
Then as long as streamfab is open, tabs usually open pretty fast after.

I can’t comment right now of streamfabs cache, as they moved it starting with v7008, I did post in another post about that. Tge cache may need to be deleted. So that also starts new.

Stan001 Thank you for being a little more helpful.

I had uninstalled and reinstalled the 7.0.0.7 version just to get some damn things done. When I couldn’t find a trace of the folder you directed me to, I realized I had to go back and yet again uninstall/reinstall to 7.0.0.9.

Now I’ve reinstalled 7.0.0.9, and magically it is opening the pages again, although it is STILL giving me fits with generic dumbass YouTube errors, whether logged in or not. (“Failed”…gee, thanks Streamfab, for that helpful description of what went wrong)

It is RIDICULOUS how many jumping jacks we are expected to constantly do to make this geyser full of sewage perform its most basic purposes for existing.

Yeah, it’s much work.

I already tried to post several times; YT is broken in StreamFab.
YouTube made more changes; remember, YouTube will keep making changes to stop downloading their videos.
And people need to stop paying them for premium. as well as any YouTube paid items.
This just gives them more fuel to block downloading.
Can’t say if/when YT will get fixed in SF; they promise another version, but what it fixes is unknown till it comes.

I’m having the same issue. I’m using version 7.0.0.6 and have been since I installed it on ⅐/26. I been having this issue only since earlier this week whenever I open Amazon or Disney.

However: I don’t think it is necessarily related to a particular service. I get the same white screen when I click on the StreamFab Forum tab at the top of the home screen. This morning the Forum screen came up right away, but when I tried to download the new version, I got the white screen…funny, however, that the download occurred even though the screen was blank.

If I close SF and start again, then the pages usually come up right away.

I just downloaded 7.0.1.0 and have the same issue of opens only blank white pages. I am about to do a clean full uninstall and reinstall and will report back. I just wanted to say its not isolated to just one persons computer.

Try closing the tab and then reopening it immediately.

Sebastian001 I tried that already. That was my first go to move. Uninstalling (FULL) worked. One thing I noticed and tried before uninstall was that my StreamFab log file pointed to a non existent location. A portable drive that wasn’t online is where my log and temp folders were. Even fixing that didn’t solve it though. Prime though isn’t H.265 for me even with it set as the default and with it selected after analyzing.
