Disney+ 7.0.0.9 Decryption key missing

I am trying to download 9-1-1 season 9 episode 10 from Disney+ with version 7.0.0.9. I got a message stating that “Failed to obtain decryption key. Please contact us for assistance.”

AFAIK it’s currently nowhere offered from D+ ..
.. looks like it’s only offered by Hulu - so I can’t test

jbinkley60 Confirming I can also not download s09e10 from the US. Same with s01e10 of 9-1-1: Nashville. I’m hoping it is a timing issue where they can not be downloaded for 24 hours after the episode can be viewed. I usually wait until the weekend to catch up on those shows.

I have the combo Disney+ & Hulu ad-supported plan and am using the Disney+ module. In the US I think in the next few months the stand-alone Hulu app is being shut down and content will only be available from the Disney+ app.

Downloading episode 6, as it’s the last one available, and without any problems. Note that when I downloaded version 7.0.0.9, it downloaded and installed version 7.0.1.0 instead.

I installed version 7.0.1.0. I tried downloading 9-1-1 Season 9 episode 10. I got the 609 error instead of the original error message above. I am able to download last week’s episode, season 9 episode 9.

Addition: Out of curiosity I tried to download Next Level Chef s05e01 that was supposedly available to watch yesterday. Same error. I’ll try again after work.

It would be nice. I will be following this, as it may just be a delay that’s needed. But how long?
Is it one full day or over a day, maybe a day and a half?

And there still is the issue of certain Hulu content on Disney+
Many are misinformed that the Hulu website will be taken down; it’s not, only the Hulu app.
Much of the Hulu content may work better via Hulu than via Disney+

I will try Next Level Chef s05e01 via Hulu, as Disney+ still gives a 609.

OK, I TRIED VIA HULU, AND Next Level Chef S05E01 WORKED WITH NO ERROR.

Stan001 Cool. So if we don’t want to wait for Disney+ to sync, it may be possible to use the Hulu module. ✅

That works if you still subscribe to them separately, which is no longer an option to do (for new accounts), right? I unsubscribed from Hulu and then subscribed (via D+) to the Hulu/D+ combo. I did that because parental controls from D+ is much more granular.
However, with those credentials I am only able to access disneyplus.com, not hulu.com. Hopefully it is just a delay or my wife will be upset having to watch ads by signing on to DisneyPlus. 🙂

I have the Disney+/Hulu combo with ads.
There is a way to get into Hulu with the same login and password used on Disney+.
So see what you can find.

I tried 7.0.11 with 9-1-1 Season 9 episode 10 and still getting the 609 error.

yeah, they fixed it in 7.0.0.9 but broke it again in 7.0.1.1 it looks like.
