I’m reaching out to see if anyone has a solution for an issue I’m hitting with the Google TV/YouTube module.
The Goal:
I have a significant collection of purchased movies and TV shows on Google TV. Because the Google TV interface is becoming increasingly difficult to use, I’m trying to download my library so I can host it on my own Plex server for a much better viewing experience.
The Problem:
Every time I attempt to download a title, the program gets stuck indefinitely at the “Analyzing” stage. It never progresses to the actual download or quality selection screen.
Technical Details:
StreamFab Version: I am running the most current version (as of February 2026).
Account Status: I am currently using the trial to test functionality, but I am ready and willing to purchase the full license immediately if I can get this working.
Steps Taken: I have verified I am logged into the correct Google account and can play the videos fine in a standard browser.
Is there a known fix for the analyzing stage hanging on Google TV purchases? I’ve seen some mentions of clearing log/temp files but this hasn’t helped unfortunately. Is there a specific setting I should adjust?
