Has anyone tried to login directly to ParamountPlus using your Amazon credentials, where you are paying for Paramount at Amazon?
Due to the soon-to-be resolved known issues with SF and Paramount (low-resolution), I had signed up for ParamountPlus at Prime (premium plan with Showtime), but I also have a Premium ParamountPlus membership that expires soon, which I obviously haven’t been using.
Below are the AI Overview results saying how to do it, but I couldn’t find anything recent.
I don’t want to try it myself until my direct Paramount subscription expires. If a Prime Paramount account works directly at Paramount, I’ll keep the Prime subscription so I have a fallback in SF to download from two sources.
Just hoping someone has tried this recently can confirm it works… Thanks.
Yes, you can sign in to the standalone Paramount+ app or website using your Amazon Prime Paramount+ channel subscription. To do this, you must first link your accounts by visiting paramountplus.com/amazon to verify your credentials.
How to Sign In with Amazon Prime Credentials:
Method 1 (Best for App/Web): Go to paramountplus.com/amazon and follow the instructions to link your account. You will create a new, separate set of login credentials for the Paramount+ app, rather than using your Amazon email/password.
Method 2 (Fire TV): Download the Paramount+ app, select “Sign In,” and choose to sign in with your provider if prompted.
Important Information:
You can stream content directly within the Prime Video app under “Subscriptions”.
If you signed up for Paramount+ directly (not via Amazon), you cannot use that account to watch within the Prime Video app.
Verify your Amazon channel subscription at amazon.com/channels if you are having issues.
