ARTE downloader in 7.0.1.3

Hello everyone,

Last StreamFab 7.0.1.3 introduces ARTE donwloader.
We can already download from ARTE with M3U8 downloader so why this “new” feature added?
I hope we will still be able to download from ARTE with M3U8 downloader, can someone confirm that?

According to this post by Wilson (quoted below), if you could download with the M3U8 downloader and have a license to that, you will be able to use the ARTE downloader. It should be the same as what is said about the DRM MPD downloader and DANZ.
If not, then you may want to contact support (https://streamfab.com/contact.htm).
And as many new modules are added, they can no longer be downloaded with past downloaders like M3U8 or DRM MPD downloaders.

Wilson.Wang Yes, DAZN is supported in DRM MPD Downloader before.

And when it becomes as a separate module, we will add the DAZN license freely for DRM MPD users.

Stan001 New modules which could be downloaded before with MPD or M3U8 (if the user have a license for that) shloud be automatically added.
ex1: Udemy downloader added (couldn’t be DL before), i can’t download, i don’t have license NORMAL
ex2: ARTE downloader added (could be DL with M3U8 before), i’ve M3U8 license, i can’t download NOT NORMAL
ex3: DAZN downloader added (could be DL with MPD before), i’ve MPD license, i can’t download NOT NORMAL

Just like ZDF, ARTE also has no DRM… there are other free options…

I am waitting the answer of support which i hope will be quick.
That’s not normal at all.
I didn’t pay a license to get fewer services in futures versions of a software.

I added on my support request DAZN downloaded license (which could be downloaded with DRM MPD and i have e license for MPD).

My ticket (started on 12 february) which should be resolved without difficulty…. i’ll have to wait more than 48 hours.
