Scheduled Failures

When a download fails with “failure checking for new episode(s), please download manually”, put it in a separate tab and include a way to click it to go to the service/series to manually download.

To the right of where it says “failure checking for new episode(s), please download manually,” you’ll see…

The red circled symbol will read “Check new episodes.” Clicking it will attempt to manually download the new episode.

Yes, I use that, but you have to manually go into the show. My thought was that that circle might take you to the service and show (via a tab), so that you may download manually. Also, put it in a separate section so that you do not have to look for the failures, you see them in hteir own tab.
Most of the time, if it failed, it will also fail trying again, via this circle.

I have not found that to be true. The only video I schedule daily during weekdays is a show on Peacock. Approximately 40% of the time, the scheduling succeeds. That means that 60% of the time it fails, and I have to click the symbol and download manually. I do not have to go into the show. That is built into the scheduling task. Knock on wood, so far, the clicking on the symbol has never failed to manually find the new episode and download it.
Are you scheduling a regular provider show episode (like I am), or are you trying to schedule something from YouTube? YouTube has its own problems right now, and so I would rule out scheduling anything from YouTube at this time.
