SB0102 I was updating the resolution on several titles I already own, taking them from 480 to 720 or better. I noticed movies wouldn’t play on the FireStick devices throughout my home but would consistently play on my PC. I removed the StreamFab history which didn’t help. I narrowed it down to titles from the Roku Channel. After several attempts I noticed all the issues came after the last StreamFab update (7.0.1.3) was performed. PLEX was having trouble determining the resolution and other attributes regardless of what’s shown on the “Details” tab of the file. The details would take a long time to appear in PLEX or not at all. Then found a work-around by changing the format under VIP Services from MP4 to MKV. This issue has only happened with the one source. Other sources seem to work correctly.
Germania I don’t think it’s due to SF or Plex .. Because I’ve noticed that my MP4 files, which I manually downloaded from Roku, take over 20 seconds to start playing. I’ve never experienced this with other providers.
Stan001 There is another provider I need to use mkv(mkvtoolnix), as the video audio become out of sync using mp4. It gets to be a pain to switch back and forth between that and mp4. Because I’ve noticed that my MP4 files, which I manually downloaded from Roku, take over 20 seconds to start playing. Since this happens guess SF can’t fix.
