Peacock new content stuck in Processing phase

Newer content on Peacock gets stuck in processing. It analyzes and downloads fine but never starts processing. Older content still works fine.

If you are using a Mac, that is a definite must to provide as very few of us use that version of the software
Screenshots showing behavior and steps someone else can take to recreate the issue
Probably more you could offer, but until those are provided there is nothing anyone can do.

I just checked a brand new show and it analyzes, downloads, processes, and remuxes correctly. Based on that, it seems a complete uninstall/reinstall may fix the issue.

If you update to the newest versions by clicking ‘Update Now’, that is a ticking timebomb.

I cannot test Peacock or compare the log as I have never had a account.

In your log is no SF error, only:
[Log]: error curl get: Timeout was reached .. [Critical]: [default] "QtDownloadTask::onError : errorString :Connection closed, code : 2

So it looks like a connection problem ..
.. you can try to change the DNS Server or using VPN Server near your location

I’m a bit confused with your log. Are you downloading directly from Peacock or through Amazon? I am downloading directly from Peacock. If you are, too, be patient! It takes several minutes before the Processing starts and then takes about as long for the Processing and Remuxing to finish. If you are going through Amazon, you’ll have to find someone else to run it that way but I suspect the results would be the same for the same reason.

This is a 3-hour long event that finishes up at 10.28 GB. It is going to take a while for the Processing to start and finish.

I only did a limited test but went to the show days of our lives, the newest content possable and it downloaded and processed fine.
As far as I knew cats4u also downloads from Peacock and I think if Peacock did not work cats4u would have posted.
So do as above and if not then clear temp folder,

I didn’t really go through the log with a fine-toothed comb. My cataracts have really been bad the last few days. I saw a lot of the name Amazon at the beginning and end of the log and just assumed that he might have used the Amazon download of Peacock. Yesterday was so bad that I couldn’t really make out anything on my laptop and Kindle. I slept most of the day out of boredom.

Yes directly from Peacock. I have been downloading them for 4 years. I know how long the processing takes. It started a few weeks ago on new races. Old ones still work fine and process in about 2 mins. I have a decently powerful processor and a PCI SSD so hardware is no issue. I have been using free trials of Flixpal a sister sw which does work on these recent races just fine. I want to use the sw I paid for.

Just downloaded it to check for you. No issues. Note it took about 1 minute and 10 or 15 seconds to begin to process.

I was downloading English and Spanish. I can’t tell if you are doing that. I will have to try with just English. I have waited well over a couple minutes for the processing to start a few times.

Like mentioned in an Apple TV thread. Possible first person to download, key exchange failure of some sort (??) but not errored out anywhere.

OP states Flixpal is a sister SW that does work; it’s an SF clone, so something is up with their SF install, as SF usually performs as good or better than the clones, which are updated as much as a week later than SF.

Need to do a full clean uninstall and install of the latest SF.
Double-checking cache and temp folders get cleared.
