Atmos-Property or other Identifier in Audio-Tracks (e.g. Netflix)?

Hi everyone,

Netflix offers audio tracks with Atmos or EAC3. As far as I know, Atmos is an extension of EAC3 and is also backward compatible with EAC3, and the “official codec” is identical for both. Is there a way in StreamFAB to configure downloaded Atmos tracks to include the word “atmos” in the track name or to differentiate them “in some other way” from regular EAC3 audio tracks? I’d like to incorporate this into the remuxing process, but currently I don’t see any difference in the audio track analysis. 🙁

Frank Granzow Have you tried using the name template in settings? It has a few glitches based on the module, but a good place to start.

Thank you for this tip. I haven’t tried that yet. This information should actually be included in the track name, since it’s possible to download multiple audio tracks. I also don’t know if StreamFab assigns the track names itself or uses what Netflix offers in its stream.

After testing, I can confirm that only “EAC3” is added as the audio codec, even though “Atmos” was selected. Well, as already mentioned, both officially use the same codec.
