Heated Rivalry S01E05 only in 1080p?

Hi, I am trying to download Heated Rivalry S01E05 from HBO Max (Nordic), but it only offers to download in 1080p, not in 2160p like S01E01-S01E04… It says 4K UHD on the site, but why won’t StreamFab download it in that quality???

I have tried to download it in ‘movie mode’ as well as ‘series mode’, but it will just download in 1080p!

Have HBO Max changed something, or is it just me that can’t download it in 2160p??

ecsjjgg It appears that HBO Max just doesn’t offer that file in 4k for download.

Here’s an excerpt from the .mpd file showing max resolution is 1080p.

It can’t display 4k because only H264 is listed - 4k is never offered for H264 (avc)

But I can confirm that ep5 is not offered in 4k with H265 (hvc) ..

.. ep6 is offered in 3840×1600 again

Germania Whoops. Yes, I did copy the section of the MPD file that pertains to AVC, not HEVC. Fortunately, my answer was correct, even if not exactly based on entirely correct information. 🙂

Check if the episode is being broadcast in 4K on your TV. If not, complain to HBO support and ask why it’s not in 4K :-)

Sebastian001 Yes, I have now contacted HBO Max and asked them why e05 isn’t available in 2160p…

This doesn’t help get it today, but for background, Episode 5 was in 4K in December so HBO made a recent change for sure:
