YouTube still not working with SF - 7.0.1.4

It has been a while since I have gotten consistent results (more than 20% success rate)
Was hoping adressed in 7.01.4, but videos still stuck forever in analyzing loop.

When copying the URL, the download dialog pops up fine, it gets added to the Downloads queue and then goes into analyzing, but never gets passed that process.

People have been experiencing problems for weeks now.

I can confirm the above video gets stuck at “analysing” while in the queue

I also notice that newly released videos, say only 24hours old or less, seem to be the ones getting stuck now - most likely a YT problem

I would try waiting a day or two and trying again

What else am I supposed to do without StreamFab.log but test it myself?
It could be a bug in SF or glitch at Provider, but it isn’t if it works for me.
That’s why “No SF problem detected” is correct.

If knowing whether it affects everyone doesn’t help you,
don’t use the forum - No one in forum can change SF.
Instead, use the feedback in SF or the contact form.
Problems that cannot be reconstructed are difficult to solve.

Also been having YT issues for a while & all recent versions. I select YT video, it analyzes and begins download - then “FAILS”. This has been for several versions, up to 7014. It seems to be at the mux step, as looking in the TEMP folder shows there are 3 files with matching nonsense names. A mp4 containing the proper video & audio. A M4a with only the audio and a srt with the subs.
I usually rename properly & keep the mp4. The unneeded m4a gets tossed and usually the useless YT generated subs too.
Downloading from any other site works as it should. I do have the SF download & Temp directories at non-default position, but as said, it doesn’t effect anything but YT and only when it tries to mux the temp files.
The YT files are still there, but it is slightly annoying.

Without logs, which would include which videos, no one can comment further.

I think I have used both MP4 and MKV, and YouTube videos seem to remux fine for me even with SRT.
Or just recently I started doing save as external SRT, and then if unwanted or unneeded, the SRT file can just be deleted.

If not happy with SF Google free YouTube downloaders, there are thousands.
I have several, and between them, there’s never an issue with any YT video I try to download.
There can always be those days YT decides to again make changes to stop downloaders, but using the right combination of downloaders, it’s a very short time, and they can be downloaded again.

Or if people want to pay, there are hundreds of paid YT downloaders; there are even extensions for Firefox that download YT videos. So it can be done right from the browser.

YouTube’s main agenda is to stop anyone from downloading their precious videos due to ‘loss’ of ad revenue, lol.
And it will put a limit on how long a downloader can work before an update is again needed.
It lately seems YT almost daily makes changes.

At best, wait till 7015 comes, and then if there are still issues, make a new post. You MUST post, including a log.
