I don’t know if this is the case for all Max/HBO TV series, but it’s been happening for me on a recent download of The Prince (2023) series. I believe I noticed similar duplicates for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, too. (Obviously this isn’t a big deal, but it’s unnecessary and a minor bug.)
