Paramount+ still does not work with latest 7.0.1.6

Hi guys !

Unfortunately, all the problems with Paramount+ are still not fixed … download is freezing at 99% when downloading a 4K Video File …

Anyone also get the same problem ?

EDIT : Waouh, it finally finished downloading after like 3 or 4 minutes, second file download on the list seems to behave the same way ..

I can only state that with five different P+ accounts from different
countries (AR/AU/CA/UK/US), it freezes in less than 1% of all P+ downloads,
regardless of where I use them (e.g. DE), and I don’t have a high-end PC.

I wish I had Paramount+, but finances don’t work for me to have it.
If the times come, they offer a trial; it’s mostly at best 7 days.
I don’t even see a free 7-day trial now.

It’s working for many, so give location, VPN use or not, and VPN provider, if used.
Clearing the cache and temp folders and maybe a reboot of the computer may help.

No VPN, Official Premium P+ FR Account

It works but it kind of freezes at 99% Download, then several minutes doing nothing, and then finishing the job … Not ideal, but at least working

I’m pretty sure it’s just a visual problem.
When a 4k title starts merging, the PC may be so busy
that the display in SF is no longer updated in real time.

After 100% 4k download, I can’t even get a new Explorer window,
but the command is not lost, it is just executed with delay.
It would be strange if it also appeared with smaller files.

No it is not a visual problem as my config is R9-9950X3D, 7900XTX, 64GB RAM, 10GB LAN, 8Gb Sym Internet connection, SSD NVMe PCIE5, don’t thin i may get such a problem …

I do not have this problem with D+ or HBO Max 4K files, no 4 mins freeze at 99%, only happening on P+ ///

Disney+ seemed slow when I first started downloading 4K, although it was a huge upgrade from 1080p.
Just set up downloads and let them go. If freezing comes frequently, clear the cache, temp folder, cookies, etc.
Check if the drive temp folder is on is ok; I made mine on an SF-dedicated WD SSD drive.
Limit other background tasks; you may even find a daily reboot of your computer helps, as well as a power cycle of your internet devices.
Check if there is any and all antivirus or malware scanning going on; watch the task manager and monitor CPU use and disk use.
I feel I have a pretty hefty system, although no, not 64GB memory, only 32GB, but it’s an i9 and only a 2.5 gig internet adapter, only able to get 1 gig+ via an ISP limit of approx. 1200 Mbps. And a decent Nvidia card, which, if SF were optimized, would make better use of.
You definitely show as tech-savvy, but make sure drivers are up-to-date as well for all devices.
Try to have fun, step back, and enjoy the 4K experience.
