Disney+ seemed slow when I first started downloading 4K, although it was a huge upgrade from 1080p.
Just set up downloads and let them go. If freezing comes frequently, clear the cache, temp folder, cookies, etc.
Check if the drive temp folder is on is ok; I made mine on an SF-dedicated WD SSD drive.
Limit other background tasks; you may even find a daily reboot of your computer helps, as well as a power cycle of your internet devices.
Check if there is any and all antivirus or malware scanning going on; watch the task manager and monitor CPU use and disk use.
I feel I have a pretty hefty system, although no, not 64GB memory, only 32GB, but it’s an i9 and only a 2.5 gig internet adapter, only able to get 1 gig+ via an ISP limit of approx. 1200 Mbps. And a decent Nvidia card, which, if SF were optimized, would make better use of.
You definitely show as tech-savvy, but make sure drivers are up-to-date as well for all devices.
