Yes, it works that way, but disabling GPU acceleration makes the whole process extremely slow—an average of 60 fps, taking over an hour and twenty minutes to complete.
With DVDFab 12, using the same settings and with GPU acceleration enabled, we get 114 fps and the process finishes in 42 minutes.
Not leveraging the power of the Apple M4 Max chip is frustrating.
To give you a better idea, with Handbrake—which is free—we’re averaging 450 fps and finishing in 10 minutes. I’d say that for software as expensive as DVDFab, this just isn’t good enough.
