Is it possible to go back to the old way on RTL+ where you can choose the 720p version? It used to work that way, and since many shows are available in both SD and HD, the platform currently only offers the SD version or the best available option.

If RTL+ only offers 540p for “Bauer sucht Frau” ..
.. SF can’t offer anything higher either.
SF naturally has no influence on RTL’s offerings.

Yes the last Bauer sucht Frau S21 give it also on 720p Best Quality is 1080p but i misssing the option 1280×720.First seasons ar only SD right

Lets Dance i mean is the same first seasons are sd later hd and 720p also

If you select “Best,” the first seasons of “Bauer sucht Frau” and “Let’s Dance” will always be loaded in SD, as they weren’t produced in HD. The seasons produced in HD are available in 1080p with the best quality. If you want 720p, you’ll have to analyze the content backwards.

I see what you mean. I also download content from Amazon, Netflix, and Disney to watch in 720p because that’s good enough for me on my PC. That’s why I’m wondering if you can make that same selection in the RTL+ Downloader. In the past, even when there were SD and HD options, you could choose between 480p, 720p, and 1080p. This should at least be available for new series. Maybe RTL+ did something to make it so it doesn’t work anymore.

No, you can’t select 720p in Let’s Dance because S1F1 is analyzed by default. You have to analyze the last episode of the latest season, then you can select 720p.

Yeah, exactly. But how can I do that when all the seasons show up at once when I click on the search? That makes it so all the seasons are displayed like the first episode of Season 1—it’s the same with Bauer sucht Frau.

The easiest way would be to avoid the search altogether ..

Yeah, that’s how it works 🙂. I didn’t know that SF would download all the seasons like that. Thanks so much for the quick replies 🙂
