Up until about 4 weeks ago, it was possible to reliably download from MyFlixerz.to.
I realise that it is a bit of a dodgy site but it does have a good catalogue of harder to find movies and Malwarebytes does a good job of filtering out any ads and redirects .

SF still appears to go through almost all of the download using M3U8 but stops at 97-99% and never gets to the processing stage. I have tried many different titles with the same result.

I was running 7.0.1.3 when the problems started and I have tried every version since to no avail. I am currently up to date at 7.0.1.7. I have also tried it as the first SF download with a new Windows PC which gave the same problem.

I have attached an unedited log attempting “Friday the 13th”.

If anyone has any ideas or wants to give it a try, my process is:

VPN as USA as MyFlixerz.to is blocked in the UK.
Navigate to the movie page and select the MegaCloud server. (UpCloud and AKCloud are not picked up by SF)
Play the movie which SF successfully analyses using M3U8.

I’ve tagged this as YouTube as previous successful downloads were in the YouTube Plus output folder.

.. and this has nothing to do with SF - it’s the same without SF

Sites like that can be unreliable and too much of a risk to access via SF because of no ad-block ability.
I did visit via Brave browser to get to the site, and this is what they say.

Due to the use of a VPN as well as the unreliability of sites like this, it may or may not work in SF.

Maybe someone else is willing to risk visiting VIA SF to see if there is anything that can be done.
I tried without Brave and never got to the site without malware popping up, etc.
I do have a very good ad blocker for Edge but decided to visit via Brave browser.

You could also try a browser extension for downloading videos, as very rarely are they DRM from those types of sites. I did check two extensions I have and both recognized videos, ~~although no download was attempted~~

I did make an attempt now, and the download worked, but only one movie was tested.
And might depend on which server is picked but did take time to download.

Stan001 Thanks for taking the time to try it out. Malwarebytes seems to pick up and reject attempts to link to what it sees as unsafe sites even on the SF browser, so that gives me some confidence.

I tried Melania through SF in case newer titles behave differently to the older ones I have been trying. Fails in the same way.

Can I ask which browser extension you used to successfully download Melania?

Germania Agreed. I’m not expecting SF to make efforts to fix this. It’s just that SF was working and now it’s not. I guess I’ve just been lucky that m3u8 happened to work for a while. Thanks for the screenshot of m3u8dl. Stuff like this is quite educational!
