Stan001 I don’t have active subscription and no access to Windows PC.
Those who have 4K subs on Windows can check whether Chrome can play 4K and update here.

I still think this quoted below may be a factor and maybe SF needs to get a different manifest if it currently don’t show 4k.

I have no plans on upgrading Netflix to the 4k plan, so don’t know.
I was going to hook my pc output into my 4k tv, but still pointless as I don’t have the 4k plan.

NF is limited in SF to offers in Chrome, because it’s used.
That’s why SF never got > 1080p from NF

The header (browser), cookie and profile must match ..

.. otherwise, the manifest (for dl url) & license request (for the key) will be rejected.

That’ why you can’t get >1080p using windows browser.
For the same reason, you cannot choose whether you get AV1 HDR or AV1 SDR.

I mostly read what’s here in the forum. So I don’t post much.
But it seems weird that someone without access to Windows 11 or even a Windows PC would ask to get 4K in StreamFab.
When it seems a Windows 11 PC is required to get 4K, if it’s even possible.

4K for Netflix would be nice via StreamFab for those who can afford the 4K plan Netflix offers.
And I did also read 4K for Netflix was asked about before, so it might be great to see someone from StreamFab say yes or no once and for all this time instead of asking users to guess if it is or not.
It does seem StreamFab slowed down in its 4K offerings when it seemed it was every few weeks 4K was added for a provider, and that was said to be StreamFab V7’s goal is for 4K ability.

RD01 The reason I asked for 4K because the streaming provider updated its browser requirements ( Earlier it was only Edge but now it includes both Chrome and Edge). Just because I don’t have access that doesn’t mean I cannot ask for something in this forum. Currently have access to Mac but Chrome for macOS doesn’t support 4K as of today.

Yes the requirements are changed ..
.. but I can’t get it (probably because my GPU isn’t supported)
That’s reason enough for me to avoid the topic in the future ..

Hi All,
Tested on my laptop, chrome, windows 11, 4K HDR subscription. Seems like I do get at least 1440p HDR. My display resulution is not 4K but I assume if I get 3K, I’d get 4K on 4K monitor.

Then maybe still some limitation in SF?
I can’t check myself right now but can a Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D be done in SF while playing a NF video?
If so and that does not show the 1440p then will show its a limitation of the SF qcef browser.
If it does show 1440p and SF does not give the option of 1440 then it’s some limitation in SF itself.

Stan001 1080p only and no HRD (AV1 instead of HEVC) for the same title. Same settings - I turned HDR on on Display settings in Windows. HDR support below shows false. So yes, some SF limitation.
