Streamfab slow download

I have StreamFab installed on Windows 10 and it works perfectly, downloading very fast. I also have it installed on another computer with Windows 11, but the speed is very slow. While I download at 50 MB/s on Windows 10, I download at less than 10 MB/s, and the problem only happens with StreamFab.

Updating
The download starts quickly but then freezes and resumes very slowly.

run SFC /scannow via terminal as admin, on your Win11 PC to check for errors
make sure you install on Win11 box with x64 offline installer; install as admin
use Google and/or Cloudflare DNS instead of your ISP
disable un-used Windows start-ups apps, AI tools, telemetry (optimize Windows)
clear temp/cache folder prior to reinstalls and/or upgrades

Not a SF issue.

I’ve already tried all the steps mentioned and it didn’t solve the problem, my computer is less than 6 months old.
16 GB of RAM, 1TB SSD.
AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT processor with Radeon Graphics 3.60 GHz
16.0 GB installed RAM
AMD Radeon™ Graphics (496 MB)

If nothing works can’t say, I have been running on Win 11 Pro since December 2022.
Maybe it is slower then Win 10 but for me Win 10 had to go as it’s a security risk with few security updates.
If Win 11 is that slow then stay with Win 10 for streamfab.

I don’t have my speeds available on Win 11 but know they are faster than 10 MB/s.

Maybe network driver issues on the Win 11 system? I know also you can do a reset network or network reset, which will fix and reset things and reboot the computer.

Or as I said in the other tread, check anti-virus maybe to aggressive?
Windows anti-virus and some other anti-virus programs do a continuous scanning of the processing files in SF.
Maybe exclude the output folder or drive from anti-virus scans?

Check Windows task manager for programs running in the background, or using higher cpu, gpu or disk use.

Others can add to any ideas, it don’t just have to be a few answering,

app stuck on Processing and Decoding Files

If after downloading files the app appears to hang (showing no progress) while processing and decoding the files .downloaded, Windows Defender may be blocking writes to the download folder. In this situation, the download folder configured in the app should be excluded from Windows Defender protection. The steps on Windows 10 and 11 are similar, but with slight differences:

Windows 10 Instructions:

Start > Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Security -> Virus & Threat Protection (Or Search for Virus & threat protection)
Under Virus & threat protection settings select “Manage settings” -> Scroll to the bottom and under Exclusions select “Add or remove exclusions”
Click “+ Add an exclusion” and select “Folder” and navigate to your download folder …

Start -> Settings -> Privacy & security -> Windows Security -> Virus & threat protection (Or Search for Virus & threat protection)

and afterwards you can check if you have your antivirus working as you expect by downloading the EICAR test file and placing it in the correct location that you exclude:

This only happens with videos from Amazon Prime; downloads normally on other services.

Also keep in mind different PCs may have different network hardware.
Perhaps you need to download an updated network hardware driver for the PC that is running Windows 11. Microsoft is notorious for installing third party drivers that may be older or less reliable than the ones from the PC maker’s driver download page. BIOS update?
