Disney+ Error 702

I am able to download other Disney content fine (e.g. Daredevil_ Born Again_S01E01). But these LOVB matches are throwing 702 error.

I went to check, but it requires an ESPN add-on plan as well via Disney+.

Maybe check again or even try clearing at least the SF temp folder and, if not, then the cache folder as well, and try again.

It seems SF always has an issue when it is or was live broadcast.
I never had the ESPN add-on via Disney+, so I can’t say more.

All m3u8 URLs that begin with live (instead of vod) have never worked with SF.

Hi there,

Possible causes include using a UK link on a US account, which can cause a DRM problem. LOVB content may also use a license server that is not supported in SF 7.0.1.9. Disney+ may use a different stream type for live or sports content.

The most likely cause is that the /en-gb/ link does not match your US account and triggers a 702 error.

To fix this, try logging into DisneyPlus.com, copy the /en-us/ link, and paste it into StreamFab.

Thanks. I had been trying to download Red Eye (UK) earlier. I got two episodes then a bunch of errors. It seems the app language in my profile was changed to English (UK) so that might be what @Kevlar found. I changed it back to (US)

I also see the “live-ftc..” links in the log, though there are “vod” links too. Not sure why they switch but I assume that’s backend stuff at ESPN. However, I have been able to download LOVB content from ESPN in earlier versions of SF.

I seem to be having issues with everything Disney so I uninstalled and did some registry cleaning and will keep poking at it.

I held out with v 6 for as long as I could and only upgraded to the 7xxx series once it fully broke (browser CEF totally out of date)

ESPN games worked fine in V6xxx so long as I didn’t select any subs.

In V7xxx it’s been totally broken and has never worked.

To be honest I sort of gave up caring as V7xxx has just been horribly unreliable across everything and end up usually sailing the seven seas when this invariably derps up after some videos . (currently on 7019)

.. only the following is apparent:

I personally can’t test because in my country is no ESPN
and in US D+/Hulu don’t accept international (non us) payment method

If it works in v6 now, the most likely explanation
is that after a week, it is no longer a “live” URL

With SF 6 has “live” also never worked last year - example post 9 here

Todd Savage Can confirm it worked fine and reasonably reliably in V6xxx (so long as you didn’t select any subtitles)

Sometimes the resulting file would have corruptions but worked fine given a second go.

v7xxx has been incredibly poor and bug-laden / crashy. I held out on v6xxx until the CDM was fully revoked.
