Subtitles are shown but not exported / no SRT and remuxing into MKV fails

On several Blu‑ray discs (e.g., Dragon Ball — first box; My Hero Academia Season 6 Vol.1–4) DVDFab displays the subtitles in the stream/preview view, but no SRT is produced after ripping/remuxing. The option to remux the subtitles into the MKV (Mode: Remux to file; Subtitle generation: VobSub / PGS / SRT) also does not succeed — the subs are visible, but are neither exported as text subtitles nor correctly embedded into the MKV.

System: DVDFab 13.0.5.8 on Windows 11.

Does anyone else have a similar problem or can help?

In your last log file, you have enabled “forced only” for subtitles.
If the selected subtitle stream doesn’t contain Forced Subtitles, you won’t get any subtitles in the output file. Please do not select this option to try again and see the result.
