[unknown] I’m quite tempted to create a sticky that catalogues current problem reports… but there are so many stickies already…

Might be a good idee for a sticky of user-reported issues. As a starting point to source the issues, you could likely start with the “2026 Roadmap” thread, as so many posts are for long-term existing issues.

This is just off the top of my head, though, as these are “my” personal top-priority fixes

Auto-Analysis setting isn’t honored by all services
Scheduling often fails
Queue Management: “pause” on in-progress download is actually a cancel (and “resume” is “start-over”)
Naming Templates aren’t honored by all services
Only 7 services are listed under Settings > VIP Services > Preferences, prevenging users from explictly setting default options for Peacock, Paramount, AppleTV, etc.)

We need one sticky post for all of the other stickied things that can be grouped together with links to the actual content so all of the individual stickies can be umm, un-stickied and we can see actual posts! 🙂

How to properly completely uninstall/reinstall StreamFab (and why it should be done)

Advanced Topics (to make the software engineers happy)

Been trying to get Admins here to cut back on pinned posts, it worked for a short time, then came the extensions.
Been trying now to get the extensions there own community as not confuse others as the extensions have nothing to do with Streamfab. No one using streamfab gets access to the extensions they are pay per extension or fab365 only.
I always unpin older versions of SF announcements when new versions come. That limits the pinned posts.

I was also told in past by cats4u this putting all problems in one post was tried and failed, let’s hope this time it’s not a fail

The problem is getting people to actually read the stickies in the first place… btw, there’s a StreamFab FAQ stickie already😝

We could have a “ README first” sticky that would cover stuff generally for various FAQs, tips, & tricks

Equally, we can can a single sticky for both flavors of SF and title it like “LATEST StreamFab is Win: x.x.x.x, MacOs: y.y.y.y” 🤷‍♂️

I would go for one main pinned post that pointed out or listed faqs, vpn and stuff.
Then only need 2 other additional one for new release streamfab Win and one Mac.
And keep FEATURE REQUEST or SUGGESTIONS

And maybe if all agree we can get, instead of one trying to get it.

I’m pretty sure that was exactly what I was suggesting. Get rid of all of the individual stickies and just keep one that is just table of contents list of links to posts that cover what used to be stickied.

There is no excuse for the folks who refuse to read the stickies. They are inconsiderate.
