I have a Paramount+ subscription at Amazon Prime and every Thursday morning I download the latest episode of Survivor, but when I open the show, SF takes over 5 minutes to give me the download dialog while it analyzes each of the 50 seasons and does a post-analysis analysis just to show me the dialog box of options.
I’ve tried to disable auto-analyze and play the latest episode directly in the SF browser, but it still analyzes all 50 seasons, and I’ve also tried to paste in the URL for the latest episode, but same - so no “movie mode” option that I can figure out here to just get a single episode.
I don’t use the Scheduler to “download automatically” because it’s been hit-or-miss (mostly miss) in my experience, so I don’t even bother with it.
So what is everyone else doing on Prime when you just want the latest episode of the latest season on a long-running current series? Sit there and wait while it analyzes ? Use the Scheduler and hope it works? Or is there some other way to speed it up just to get the latest episode each week?
Appreciate hearing what the community is doing on Prime in this type of situation.
