Hello, I’ve had an ongoing issue with DVDFab 13 where I load it up and it then hangs for around 8 minutes. I’m using Windows version 13.0.5.8 but this has been an issue with all the previous versions I’ve used.
I don’t have the same issue with DVDFab 11 or 12.
Once the initial 8 minute freeze has resolved itself, I can then rip DVDs without any further freezes.
All advice would be gratefully received.
Rather than post three separate questions, I’m going to put two additional issues which are less annoying in case anyone has advice:
a) When DVDFab 13 has analysed the first disc, it usually defaults to putting a “DVDCopy” job into the processing queue. I’ve never wanted to create a copy of any DVDs so if there’s a way to remove this from the default that would be great, as currently I need to remember to check the queue and remove the copy job before I press start on the job of files to rip.
b) More recently, I’ve had an issue where DVDFab 13 will automatically analyse a disc and add the largest file to the processing queue. If this is a DVD of a series, this often means a single file with all the episodes, which would be a duplication of the individual episode files.
Until recently if I clicked “Choose Other Titles”, selected the files I wanted and unselected the large file that had been automatically selected, DVDFab13 would then remove the large file from the queue. I’ve noticed that it’s stopped doing this, so I now need to find it in the list after it’s finishing analysing the individual episode files and click the cross at the end of the large file to remove it from the queue.
