Amazon Downloads not working

Hi, I am new here. Crunchyroll downloads work, though some are not recognized, but most seem to work. But my Amazon Prime account won´t let me download anything. It seems to see the movie or series, analyzes for a few seconds, sees the available seasons… and then gives an error.
I also don´t seem to be able to update to 7.0.2.0. Every time I start the software, it wants to download again, tells me I am on 7.0.1.2. I let it. But it does not seem to install after downloading. Tried also to install from windows directly. Same result. Always wants to download and install the newer version.
Will there be a patch, or am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change some setting to be able to download from Prime? I can start any movie or series, see it, hear it.

Please close SF and install 7020 from here

If the analysis still does not work afterwards ..
.. close SF and try to rename/delete the cache dir in
%AppData%\DVDFab\StreamFab\rootCachePath
and relogin (everywhere)

If that doesn’t help try complete uninstall and fresh reinstallation.

Ideally attach always your StreamFab.log if you have a SF problem.

Germania Thank you for the fast reply. It was stubborn… I actually had to uninstall und freshly reinstall the software. Before, it showed in windows installed apps the new version number (7.0.2.0) but in the software itself always the old one. Now it works, new version correctly installed, Amazon works too.

If I have a problem again, where do I find the log you mentioned?

StreamFab.log in your Log Directory (My account -> Settings)

czaykowski you don’t actually have to uninstall previous versions, just install to a new directory like:-

I do the same as @0xFeedBeef. This way if I run into issues with the newest version I can revert to the previous by simply renaming directories. If I still run into issues I also delete the cache and log directories. Sure, I have to log back into all the services but it is far less aggravating than dealing with a corrupt/incompatible cache. If you don’t want to be nagged about new versions rename StreamUpdate.exe to StreamUpdate.exe.NOT. I never use the in place updater. Ever. It is undeniably the Achilles Heel of StreamFab and creates more “issue” posts than anything else.
