I have two computers, one with 1TB of storage and another laptop with less than 100GB of available space. I use StreamFab on both computers, but on the one with little space, when I save the movies to a network folder with the computer that has 1TB of storage, the download speed of the movies becomes very slow.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

SF downloads stuff to the TEMP folder first (usually all segments of video, audio, and subtitles), then it decrypts those segments in the TEMP folder, once decrypted it writes out the FINAL remux to the TEMP folder, and once that succeeds, it moves the remux to your OUTPUT folder.

But other files I download from the internet are fast, like those downloaded through the IDM download manager.

Is there any way to fix this?

I remember using a version that worked fine, then it updated and this is happening.

Download it to the local drive, then move the finished file over to the network drive.

The download starts out slow and takes a while to begin, then it speeds up, and at about 80% it freezes again, and after about 3 minutes it resumes slowly.
A few months ago I was using it normally, fast and without freezing, after a couple of updates.

Downloads on Netflix are normal, fast and without freezing, I will test on other platforms and update here.

another thought: you might want to disable antivirus for the TEMP and the OUTPUT folders
