Well Soooorry… With that said I am not having this argument with you, I myself am a Networking Engineer, so I do understand.
With that all said, I do not know all the inner working of how Streamfab works, but if I may make a possible recommendation and or solution.
When a video is loaded only scrap the information of that particular video, and perhaps how many more episodes there are total, or just in that season, but not the details. This is assuming that in general the other episodes in the same season will probably have the same audio and subtitle languages and the like. So the user can set there preferences based on the first episode. Then as videos are downloaded one can use the rate limit setting in the Streamfab settings to hopefully wait out the Crunchyroll rate limit. Then scrap the episode information right before downloading one at a time.
Not sure if that will work, but there are my 2 cents.
