AC3 won't get picked up if Atmos is selected

With 7.0.2.3 if you download a purchased movie with two audio (language) tracks (Dolby Atmos and AC3) the AC3 track reverts to AAC 2.0. If you select AC3 for both tracks, AC3 is picked up for both audio tracks. Can this please be fixed?

Tested this on the film Gravity.

Sudopian SF only lets you pick one track at a time, what do you mean by “both tracks”?

I usually download two languages DE and EN. With Gravity EN is Dolby Atmos and DE should be AC3. But if I select Atmos for audio, DE will be downloaded as AAC and EN will be downloaded as Dolby Atmos. If I select AC3 for audio, DE and EN get downloaded as AC3.

Sudopian ok, that makes more sense now; sounds like fallback is set to be from unavailable track down to AAC which will be guaranteed to be available (all ATV stuff have AAC).

What you’re asking for is the fallback path of Atmos -> AC-3 -> AAC instead of * -> AAC @Wilson.Wang

It’s not a bug per se, so not sure how urgent a resolution be rushed by the devs. I guess you can just download low resolution video track with the correct audio track and remux manually (ffmpeg, mkvmerge, and MP4box(?) come as part of SF already) in the mean time…

No rush…I already merged two downloads of the movie. So I’m fine :-)
