7.0.2.4 and Peacock 4K

Thank you Fab team for 7.0.2.4 and now supporting 4K from Peacock. I’ve pulled down a few of the newer TV series with 4K HDR10. I am seeing something interesting with The Hunting Party. StreamFab can get 4K HDR10 for Season 1 but for Season 2 I am only getting 1080P, even when I select 4K HDR10. I am in the US Midwest. I wonder what others are seeing ?

That;s what I said above. Season 2 is 1080P but season 1 is 4K. I would have kinds of expected the opposite with older stuff being 1080P and newer being 4K. I see that with some older series’ and movies.

Not necessarily- the DoVi gear is more expensive to lease, so if there was little ROI on the first season, and the demand for DoVi gear is higher due to movies &c, they may have just leased cheaper gear for filming… or it could be that post-production is taking way longer for DoVi/HDR than the regular FHD releases, so they might process 4K stuff during the production lull 🤷‍♂️

That’s a plausible explanation. My goal was really to see if anyone else was seeing the same thing on Season 2 or was it just me.
