I’m ripping a lot of movies with DVDFab and I am having some problems with the quality of the output. prior to about a week ago, the DVDs were ripping fine, now I am having to re-rip them on a different product to get high quality output. My settings are (And I really don’t mess with these, not understanding what they all are for):
Advanced Settings
- Codec - Same as Source
- Resolution - 640×480 (this appears to be set by the DVD
- Encoding Method - Passthrough
- Video Quality - Same as Source
- Frame Rate - Same as Source
- Split - No Split
- Preserve Chapters is checked.
Audio
- Copy Audio is checked
- Codec - Same as Source
- Channels - Same as Source
- Sample Rate - Same as Source
- Bit Rate - Same as source
Subtitle: Mode - Remux into file
Subtitle Generator AI
- Audio Track - English AC-⅗.1
- Audio Language - English (United States)
- Output Subtitle Language - English (United States)
Nothing else is running during the rip. I turned off the screen saver and scheduled the antivirus runs to 5 AM.
My computer is an Acer with these settings:
- Processor - 11th Gen® Core™ i5 - 11400 @ 2.60 GHZ
- Installed RAM - 8.00 GB
- Graphics Card - Intel® UHD Graphics 730 (128MB)
- Storage - 477 GB
- System Type - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
