ARD - no more downloads for just audio

Perhaps it’s just me, but since the ARD Downloader exists, it isn’t possible to download just the audio.

I used to be able to download german TV series and took just the audio and subtitles from the ‘Originalversion’ (and merge them using a different programm).

Nowadays, downloads are limited to “Video”.

Am I just blind and missing something?

As you can see, audio isn’t offered separately ..
.. so where is SF supposed to get audio only?

Audio only is offered for ARD but not (always) for one

btw: I see a tag ZDF - but can’t detect tag ARD ..

yt-dlp (YT Downloader) is capable of extracting the audio from a video that contains audio ..
.. but the download is nonetheless inevitably video + audio,
since no other option is offered for either of the two series.

Or why else do you think 3 GB gets downloaded when you select “audio only” at 128k?

edit: My 128k m4a result show a length of 3 h 26 min

sry, in the picture above I only OPENED the drop down to show the option “audio”, I didn’t SELECT it.

It WAS possible just to download audios, as fast as expected (and not lasting endlessly like the videos), and the results were no videos and just as small as expected (found in trash bin):
