[7026] analysis/queueing badly broken for TV series

Using version 7.0.2.6 on HBO Max (US) I queued one episode from 2 different series (below) but I’m not getting the episodes I requested: it’s instead downloading a different episode twice. Also, the DOWNLOADED page isn’t matching what is downloaded - it shows it gave me the titles/episodes I requested, but it didn’t.

I tried this multiple times, with Auto-Analyze ON, then OFF, then back to ON, but each time it’s always attempted to download the first episode of the last title I added to the queue.

Clean logs are attached from my most recent attempt. Can anyone find something in there pointing to an issue? Or is anyone else able to replicate this?

NOTE: I’m only having issues with recording TV episodes. I successfully recorded a movie today on HBO MAX using the newest version of SF - it’s only TV episodes I’m having issues with.

I queued both epis in US and starts the dl

and can confirm that I get Half Man.s01e01 twice

Temporary Workaround (without downgrading SF): Use “Movie Mode”
Play in SF with disabled Auto Analysis and use the orange button:

Germania what if you cue them the other way around, or three different things? Just checking if there’s a glitch that causes the downloader to keep downloading whatever the last analysis was… so that the error report can be specific…

You mean what happens in reverse order? - Then Hacks.s01e01 twice?

No second epi/serie is required ..
.. if I selected only Hacks.s05e09 I get s01e01 instead

I can confirm that complete HBO queue (with epis - not movies) receive s01e01 from last analyzed serie

Thanks for reviewing @Germania and @0xFeedBeef and for replicating the issue.

I ended up using a prior version of SF (7.0.2.1) on my backup PC to get the episodes I needed and that worked fine. It also worked in 7.0.2.5, so it looks like the fix to “manually analyze Disney+/Paramount+/HBO Max videos” introduced in 7.0.2.6 had some unintended consequences for HBO Max.

Shortly after I submitted this thread a few hours ago (this morning for me) I submitted a feedback ticket via SF and in it I included a link to this thread for cross-reference. Hopefully it’s something they can resolve quickly.

Recently upgraded to the latest version and tried to download from HBO. If I add an entire series to the queue it appears to just download the first episode over and over until the queue runs out. If multiple series are queued up it can actually just download the first episode of the first series over and over. Labeling will continue to add numbers until it reaches an OS limit.

Moving back to 7.0.2.5 seems to resolve this issue. Anyone else experience this?

Hi everyone, I’m using HBO Max for series but every time instead of downloading all the episodes it repeats the first one endlessly, I’m using Streamfab 7.0.2.6 before it didn’t happen maybe if someone gives me the link to the previous version I can use the one that works thanks

I’m locking this as (a) it is a known problem and is in the catalogue, and (b) SF team is working on it.

Will be unlocked when there’s a beta/update.
