Well, that’s my answer. Others can look for more complicated software, and there’s a good chance it’s paid software to get B&W.
Handbrake likes to use the term convert, but all I had to do was change 1 setting in filters and check Grayscale.
Processed(convert) it, and to my eyes the end result video file looks B&W when played.

I am sure there may be someone who comes up with something better, but if it costs money, I won’t use it.
Handbrake is at least free. And if my memory is right, DVDFab or UniFab only takes B&W and charges money to use their AI cloud converter to convert B&W to color. Or maybe I should say to colorize.

I’m unlocking this as @simchris patently has been relentless at finding a work around that works, and has succeeded, and others like @Germania and @Stan001 provided useful info.

But please don’t pollute the thread with “me too,” or “I can’t believe it’s not butter, but it works!” type posts, they are nothing but meaningless noise and literally distract from the helpful info provided by the above-mentioned users!

I tried the work around. Sadly, it doesn’t work for me. I always get the Failed to Obtain….

Unless I’m doing something wrong, I’ve opened the video, #6, in amazon on the website. Next, opened SF, went to amazon and clicked on Spider. Got the option to download. Took off subtitles and hit download. Tried both 264 and 265.

I’ve tried using the above method using current update 7.0.2.8, and 7.0.2.4. Log is from the 2.4 version.
All computers are running windows 11, via HP computers, 64bit, no vpn in the USA.

I do appreciate the above poster for taking the time to work on this.

(Episodes 1-5, no issues for me. It started with episodes 6-8)

I got it going. I have two family accounts. I was using a different one on SF, not the one that I was copying and pasting. Thanks to the user who found the work around.

In version 7.0.2.8 Spider-Noir on Prime Video comes up with only one episode and they system treats it like it’s a movie. I was able to download the first episode. I started other episodes in StreamFAB (and separately in Edge) and got the screen in StreamFab to show Resume S1 E2 but when I click Analyze it looks like it’s going to work but then it throws an error indicating that there is something wrong with the decryption key. I’m guessing this has something to do with the way they are offering the title in Color or B&W via their interface.

troytruax did you try changing to color or b/w view in edge before capturing the url, and in SF did you clear temp/cache folder after latest SF update anduse offline x64 installer as admin?

That problem existed until Amazon released this series with that feature, and from 7.0.2.7 to 7.0.2.8 there was only one change, so nothing changed in the Amazon module.

Episode 4 h264 but smaller file size
Episode 5,6,7,and 8 h265

Stan001 sinnlose Übersetzungen.
Da versteht man nur die Hälfte. Ein Großteil ist falsche Übersetzung. Ein englisches Wort könnte 3 oder 4 deutsche Übersetzung sein die Translator gar nicht richtig zusammenfügen kann.
Wenn man ein paar Zeilen liest versteht man gar nichts weil es falsche Übersetzung ist.
