Spider Noir is now available on Prime with 8 episodes.
When playing back on Prime the user is prompted to select either tru-color or b/w.
When selected in StreamFab it only identifies the first episode, not the other seven, as well as several trailers as extras. When downloading the singular episode, it is always downloads in Tru-color.

I’m guessing the issue is with the option to either watch in Tru-Color or B/W, it is throwing off StreamFabs ability to identify the content and locate the files to download.

Same issues here (US,full Prime UHD no ads account). Only able to select EP1 in SF, downloads fine in color. Amazon in browser shows all 8 eps watchable.

Using the URL capture trick, gets you ep 2 (testing right now)..

e.g.,

So, I went to Amazon in Chrome; went to the Noir info page; selected ep2 to play, switched to B/W,. skipped stupid show promo for some drama, let it start, captured URL; then pasted into window in SF once in the Prime VIP module.

Seems there is not unique URL for B/W (based on my first test on that), but a built in toggle in the playback to switch between modes. Of course, in VLC and similar, you can remove color to watch in ‘noir’ mode (B/W) for any show.

So, I got ep2 in color; so presumably you could get all 8 eps in color at least, right now.

Note using the URL method, the episodes are not ‘named’ properly. So ep 2 gets names as noir_1.

Can anyone download it? When I try it does not give the double option (black and white; color) and it does not
even allow me to download the various episodes, only one appears. Maybe an update is needed to fix this?

All because Amazon doesn’t provide two separate pages for two different versions ..

This series has two unique features:

There are two different versions with the same episode url
You cannot play a episode without interacting (selecting with or without color)

.. but I hope there’s a way to get it in black and white as well

You can use my URL trick noted to download each episode in color one at a time. There is no separate B/W URL at the moment, unfortunately.

simchris I used manual analysis to get episodes 1 and 2. It failed on 3 because it said it couldn’t decrypt it (tried several times). Does your trick work differently?

simchris Can you walk through in more detail how you’re obtaining unique URLs for the color stream? I tried as you noted earlier (opened in Chrome, played, waited for promo to end, toggle to alternate version, copy URL) but what I’m seeing is the URL is identical for each episode I’ve tried - I never see the URL change. In my case, URL for e2 is same as e1, etc.

Same. Tried disabling auto-analysis and manually selecting Ep. 3 and beyond without success- this method only works for Ep. 1-2.

|x| I could get Ep. 3 to work, but Ep. 4 and beyond is still a mystery.

I grabbed Ep. 3 by switching to H264 (I grabbed 1 and 2 with H265) and tried to grab it specifically from the URL generated when playing the B&W version. It still gave me the color version when downloaded, but it allowed me to grab Ep. 3.

Very strange.

I don’t know why my MPDs were different ..
.. but it looks like you’re right.

I played now the same mp4 (same source url - only different tokens) in browser in b/w and in color

btw: I am so happy that’s not a must have for me

Good catch switching to H.264! I was able to replicate your success; and like you I can only get Ep. 1-3.
Ep. 4 and beyond result in an Encryption Key Error.
