Streamfab won’t analyze on Fandango. I’ve tried it on two movies, one free with ads (Somewhere in Time) and one that’s in my library in case the ads were the issue (Puss in Boots The Last Wish).
The first attempt was on 7.0.2.9, then I did a full uninstall and reinstall twice (Ashampoo didn’t do a full clean uninstall, so after the failure happened again, I redid the uninstall with Revo Uninstaller). Second and third attempts were on 7.0.3.0. The movies appear to play fine (except for one initial issue, see below), but the analyze window just doesn’t come up.
I tried Netflix, and except for a strange bobble at the start (see below), it worked perfectly. The movie started, the analyze window came up, and the movie downloaded. So this issue seems to be with just Fandango.
The Reinstall Issue
The first several times I tried to play something from both Fandango and Netflix, I got this error screen:
I have no idea what cleared up the problem – I was hoping I could access chrome settings within Streamfab, but just kept ending up on a youtube page. I opened Chrome (not a browser I generally use), but the setting was already correct there. Then suddenly the error stopped appearing and things worked perfectly for Netflix, and the movies at least played for Fandango. Was that just because I opened Chrome?
