Playback error 3005

Having issues with Paramount+ too.

Sometimes I get "This video is currently unavailable> Please try again. error code: 3005
Other times I get to play the video, in this case Dutton Ranch series, but cannot download. Used to be able to download a day or 3 ago but no longer can. I did get one episode to download earlier but no luck since.

Was working fine a day or 3 ago. Started having issues today so I upgraded to 7.0.3.0 from 7.0.2.8, IIRC, but issue persists.

Tried to signout of Paramount+ in Streamfab several times so I could try signing back in but I get: “www.paramountplus.com says Error occurred. please try again later”

Have not yet done a clean reinstall of Streamfab.

Just uninstalled Streamfab using Revo Uninstaller and reinstalled.

Signed in through my Internet Provider.

I have no idea if it even works when logging in via a partner (I can’t test)

Was working fine signed in through my Internet Provider, Spectrum, in versions before 7.0.3.0. IIRC, I had skipped a few versions as they didn’t seem to address any issues that pertained to me here in the US, so my best guess is that is was working in 7.0.2.8 signed in through Spectrum. Had successfully downloaded episodes of Dutton Ranch and Marshals on 06/05/2026. Downloaded Dutton Ranch Season 1 Episode 4 again on 06/07/2026 to try to get a better .srt. After that I cannot download anything from Paramount+. No issues with amazon, Netflix, Disney, HBO MAX, Hulu, Peacock, Tubi, Pluto, Roku or CWTV.

I suspect it is a Paramount+ issue that, hopefully, will be resolved in a future Streamfab release.

I get Error 403 and error 3005, I posted in https://forum.dvdfab.cn/d/472529-paramount-login-problem/45 but someone moved it here to a new thread. This 74 year old gets confused, start a new thread foir a similar issue and mods jump on my ass, post in a current thread and mods move to a new thread. dunno…

When I try to sign out of Paramount+ on Streamfab I get:

flylow+ error 403 and error 3005 are two separate issues, and if you’re getting error 3005 you can’t be getting error 403 (as getting error 3005 requires you to be able to log in in the first place, which is where error 403 was occuring)

Fresh login works again (no partner login tested) ..
.. but this don’t change the error 3005 after trying to play current releases
(Analysis and Download continue to work just fine for me, of course)

Depends, sometimes I was getting error 403 when attempting to login. But other times I have seen error 3005 so from what you say I must have logged in successfully at times. dunno.

I am currently logged in using the beta.

Sometimes I get error 3005, sometimes it lets me watch. But I still cannot download anything from Paramount+.

Same Error 3005 and not getting any analysis of Dutton Ranch series on P+. I’ll wait a week or two to see if this gets fixed. (It worked for me last week on the last 7.0.2.x release.)

No, I have not been trying the beta releases at all. However, in 7031 the problems are fixed. I was able to log out from P+, then log back in again, and now my tests work. Thank you very much for the reply - I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.

Which is exactly why it’s a separate issue to error 403 🤷‍♂️

I can now login without getting error 403 in the beta “new test version posted under “best answer”.

I am still getting error 3005 some of the time the beta “new test version posted under “best answer”. Sometimes I can watch episodes of Dutton Ranch other times I get error 3005 using the beta “new test version posted under “best answer”. Cannot download anything from Paramount+ using the beta “new test version posted under “best answer.”

Only thing that, in my experience, the beta “new test version posted under “best answer” resolved was eliminating error 403 that I was getting some of the time.

flylow+ great, that’s why I’m particular about having a separate topic for each separate issue, I think we can safely say HTTP/403 is resolved with the interim release, and error 3005 remains an open issue.

flylow+ Given what @Ivaltix said above, can you clear the cache (will require you to re-login into every service) and try again with the test version in this thread?

The 403 error is fixed for me with the beta version. Everything is working again login logout and downloads. The 3005 error is also fixed on my end the titles are playing normally now. (Paramount+ Premium DE)

Have uninstalled and reinstalled many times since I bought streamfab back in July of 2024.

Same as 2 days ago, totally deleted the contents of streamfab Log & Temp directories.Uninstalled Streamfab using Revo Uninstaller and reinstalled again.

Signed in through my Internet Provider.

Still get error 3005…

flylow+ that doesn’t clear the cache, it’s stored in %APPDATA%\DVDFab\StreamFab\rootCachePath
