Streamfab v7.0.3.1: Streamfab remuxes the video and audio streams out of alignment. The audio plays for about 8 seconds before the video starts. I downloaded the series “Earth: Final Conflict” from Plex using this same version of Streamfab and it didn’t have this stream sync issue.

KittyBiscuit are they in sync when you watch it in a regular browser?

PS: try getting it again in case some fragments got lost in the ether, or check that the duration of video and audio tracks are roughly consistent

It again awhile since I use Plex module.
My time is getting limited it looks like I lost between 15 & 20 TB of files..So I’m not happy
Dam whole external HD seems bad which in itself seems weird. It usually starts with bad sectors not the whole freaken 24TB HD.

But to get the audio to sync last I knew SF has to be set to mkv (mkvtoolnix).

I don’t know why nor do I know why when using ffmpeg audio goes out of sync.
It would be nice if the developer would look into this. I myself also don’t have time to see if I in some way could get ffmpeg to be used as many still like mp4.

Stan001 Holy crap! Using MKVToolNix for the remuxing solved the sync issue. Thank you so much for the tip! I’ll need to remember to use it for Plex if I have issues with ffmpeg.

Everything I grab, I have a 2nd copy. I’m sure ya don’t need a lecture, that’s just common sense.

Just an FYI on “Dungeons & Dragons (1983)” the animated series: on both the Roku channel site and Plex the show plays slight faster than it should.
