For a couple of days now, Amazon downloads for (older) TV shows sometimes stop at the end of the downloading phase. There is no discernible pattern here, e.g. the first two episodes of The West Wing (S01) are downloaded and processed, the following episodes (3-6) are not processed, episode 7 works again, episode 8 does not. With some shows, it helps to switch from H265 (my default) to H264, but this does not always work. Using StreamFab 7.0.3.1 on Mac. Has anybody had similar problems recently? The log contains the following (among informational log entries):
2026:06:20-22:54:29 0x3253f0000 [Critical]: [default] DeSerialization videotrack failed : "Best"
2026:06:20-22:54:29 0x3253f0000 [Critical]: [DC.Amazon] Unkonw strSelectedResolution : "Best"
So I tried to select a specific resolution (1080p) instead of “Best”, but this only helped in some cases, too (e.g. the third episode of The West Wing S01). There is a correlation between an unusually fast download (> 100 MB/s) and the occurrence of the problem. Episodes which are downloaded at lower speeds are usually processed correctly.
