Fandango: Issue Analyzing TV Series - Only Season 1 Showing Up

When selecting a TV show that I have an entire bundle of, after analyzing StreamFab only gives me the option to download Season 1 (as opposed to all seasons, or the currently selected season). Sometimes after clicking around and selecting various seasons I can get it to show all seasons to download, but I haven’t figured out what the right sequence is to get it to work most times. I am currently trying to download “24” and “Smallville” and have not been successful at all in getting it to show any season but season 1.

I can’t test paid shows, but I found free-to-watch Columbo, and I can get all 7 seasons.

So looks like a StreamFab issue, and hopefully the developer can get the info passed onto them.

So there might be an issue with the paid shows.

I am seeing this exact same issue with Paid TV shows too. It doesnt resolve past Season 1 at all. I also rolled back to many older versions and see the same thing. This appears to be some change on Fandango’s side that needs to be looked at.

On your test version, when I go to my library and click on the bundle that I purchased, the analysis works perfectly. It pulls up every season that I own and lets me download them.

If I click on an individual season the “Analyzing Video URL” Popup shows it analyzing 100s of seasons and then only analyzes the number of episodes in the first season, and I can only download the first season (no matter which season I selected). One time I opened up a season of 24 and the application crashed - it said it sent a crash report - that was around 6:45 MDT today.

I just downloaded your new version 7.0.3.4 that you posted and its still blowing up when I select any season of the TV Shows that I paid for. When I select a TV Show, the Season and Episode information is rendered fine and I can select what Episodes want to download from all the Seasons that I paid for.

However if I cancel there and select any Season from the TV Show, it then starts Analyzing many Seasons of information. The number increases way beyond what I own for that particular TV Show. This is obviously trying to gather information far beyond what is assigned to the TV Show. Once it hits some high number the application crashes.

Here is the crash where it sends you the information. It doesn’t allow me to put in my information to the Crash report. It simply closed out after I click on OK.

Wilson.Wang I also downloaded the new official version, and I’ll post a screen shot of the issue. The new version fixes a lot and works for most shows that I own, where I buy the “bundle” option from Fandango. Some shows though I buy individual seasons, and the season selection page has the same issue as before.

Just installed your test version and it works great. I noticed a new feature where the Analysis happens when clicking on the TV Show. I like the countdown timer too. Before it would fail on the TV Show Analysis then it would resolve everything once you clicked on any of the Seasons. This is much better. The underlying issue of this post appears to be fixed with your test release. Its allowing me to download all the seasons now. Thanks!!

By the way I see what Paboperfecto was talking about too. If you go a step further and select a Season under the TV Show it tries to resolve everything I own and then crashes. The app then sends the crash report to you guys.

jeff One issue I found on a show I didn’t buy the bundle for, I only own a couple seasons out of the entire 8 season run - I can’t download any seasons except season 1.

I agree though, the feature to click on the bundle and have it analyze everything there was very nice.

Are you sure? – I don’t see multiple seasons being analyzed ..
.. but rather all the individual episodes:

paboperfecto I only own seasons 1 and 4 ..
I only have the option to download season 1

That would probably be different if you also had s02 and s03 ..
.. what happens when you select s04 (with disabled auto analysis) and then analyze it?

Is (only) s04 offered then?

Germania You are correct, the issue was with the auto-analysis. Once I turn that off and manually analyze I’m able to download the seasons that I own. Behavior is as I would expect, once I analyze I get both seasons 1 and 4 available to download.

So is the main issue now fixed, but the fix broke automatic analysis?

0xFeedBeef Correct. That being said, despite the issue with the Automatic Analysis, I can now download all my TV shows one way or another so I’m mostly happy.
