Calibre Plugin Failing

“Select the downloaded plugin .zip file to install”. I cannot get this to work. From inside Calibre, I select the BookFab plugin zip — but everything in the zip file is grayed out. So Calibre does not recognize any of the BookFab plugin files — therefore I cannot install the plugin. Also: there is mention of an installer (“Run the Installer”) but I cannot find an installer .exe. I am using Windows 11.

JIM_T You don’t need to unzip the plugin file. Load the whole zip file to try again:

I got the plugin loaded. But when I try to run it, I get this message:

“Calibre, version 9.9.0. ERROR: Decryption Failed: An error occurred while decrypting MY BOOK.azw3: An unknown error occurred. Please try restarting the app. If the issue continues, contact support with more details.”

I did restart Calibre and tried it again, but I got the same error.
