FYI: I was experiencing very slow downloads on Apple TV—just a few KB/s—and, strangely enough, only there.
The solution from another thread involving DNS had no effect whatsoever.
Disabling IPv6 and the QoS packet scheduler in the network adapter brought the download speed back up to double-digit MB/s.
