Downloading Bilibili Videos with StreamFab

Due to changes in Bilibili’s specifications, it was temporarily impossible to download videos using StreamFab. However, according to a recent announcement, the long-awaited issue regarding Bilibili video downloads has been resolved in version 7.0.3.4.

But what’s the deal with having to log in to download Bilibili videos?
Since it used to be possible to download them without logging in, I hope they’ll revert to the original state so we can download them without logging in, just like before.
Currently, the free Bilibili downloader at bravedown.com allows you to download videos in FHD quality without logging in.
I strongly believe that if a free downloader can do it, there’s no reason why the paid StreamFab can’t.

I found it strange too, especially since
I’m not receiving an SMS code to try it out.

Try using yt-dlp or check StreamFab.log and you see:
ERROR: [BiliBili] 1FzLR6FEJt: Unable to download JSON metadata: HTTP Error 412: Precondition Failed

I know that multiple free dl sites exists ..
.. but that doesn’t mean that they can dl without a account (their own).

Or have you found a dl tool that can dl without account ?

As a systems engineer, I understand what Germania is saying from a professional standpoint.

However, what I wrote in this thread is my opinion as a StreamFab user.
From a user’s perspective, there are services that allow downloading Bilibili videos without logging in, but StreamFab currently does not support downloading without logging in.
Whether it’s a tool or a web service is irrelevant to the user.

StreamFab has truly improved my life, so I am very grateful.
It was with these high expectations for StreamFab that I started this thread and shared my thoughts.
