Viki no longer available in 1080p

For the past week or so, Viki only gives the option of 720p max. Previously everything has been available in 1080.

Is anyone else having this issue?

An example of this is: https://www.viki.com/videos/1248945v - I have previously managed to get 1080p.

(I was running SF 7.0.3.3 but discovered the issue, so rolled back to 7.0.3.1, as it was previously working at 1080 , however the issue remains.)

I get always only 480p - but I’ve no Viki Pass ..
.. my mpd in Chrome always contain: SD

Do you have Viki Pass Plus?

If so you can check if your mpd contain 1080p ..
.. Open regular browser, click on DevTools, filter mpd and reload the epi

Germania Thank you for replying. It’s showing as 720p. I’ve never had pass plus (I’m not in the US), but I’ve never had an issue getting 1080 in the past. It’s only been in the last week that I have. As you can see from my screenshot of VLC player, I was able to get that ep at 1080 previously.

I tried in DE (EUR is not a currency in the US) ..
.. based on your old logs, I suspect UK.
And there is also pass plus required for 1080p

Since I’ve never had a Viki Pass, I can’t say
whether anything has changed, but if you want 1080p,
you should give the Plus Plan a try.
