I’m guessing this does not include fixed from 7038 (before people start complaining)?

I don’t think it does; it does not for YT.

I did test it on Peacock, and it maxed my download internet speed. Disney+ did the same.

Stan001 yup, just tested with Para+ and HBO… I’d say there is some… “measurable” improvement… 😏

I can only test so much, plus I had to reduce my download speed to save money to 500 Mbps from a 1 gig speed.

But I tested Peacock, Disney+, & Paramount, and all maxed out my speed.

Because most of the changes in the 7038 change log were SOME that did not analyze or download, this test version should enable most users to give it a good test since this is possibly only missing minor updates from 7038.
YT speeds would not be affected anyway, as SF uses yt-dlp and that is usually fast no matter if updated or not.

One thing I noticed on purchased content (4K w/ DoVi/HDR) on Fandango- if you want to change the video codec you seem to have to click twice, the first click, even though it causes the “analysing….” popup, doesn’t alter the selection dialogue box, but when you click the second time the selection dialogue box gets updated with appropriate info for the selected stream

Good to know another update comes, it already workes fast for me.

Same for me when (manual) analyzing after start Silo.s03e02 ..

.. works after start Silo.s03e01 - but the analysis show s01e01

I had the same failure to analyze, but trying a second time download of season 3 episode 02 was successful.

Blurayfan that’s what I meant by intermittent… probably a sync issue somewhere… the only thing I couldn’t get to work by repeatedly retrying is silo, the others that got released today eventually worked

I tried all services I have access to, Peacock, Disney+, and Paramount+, and all maxed out my download speed, so way to go on improving download speed. I use this test/beta version now because it’s so fast.

ADDED: Tubi, Plex, and Roku seem much faster downloading as well.
Roku was always a bit slow for me. So I hope it stays faster.

New BUG report for beta 7038.

Can not get videos in 4K with Peacock. Peacock is a bit slim with 4K, so I did not suspect it till I tried a movie I know is in 4K yet can’t get in 4K with 7038 beta, and I can get 4K with the 7038 standard release.

Thanks, Wilson. I don’t know if it was a bad install or something the developer fixed on the server side, but I can get 4K now on Peacock with this fast beta version.
So things come down quickly for most services tried.

ADDED: Don’t know if it’s possible, but when running the beta versions, can it say “7038 Beta” in StreamFab?
So I know which version I am using. Currently they both just say 7038 when run.
I do have two different icons with names 7038 and 7038 beta on my desktop to help determine which one I am going to run.
