VIP preferences not being honoured

Both the 7038 test/beta and 7038 do NOT honor my default VIP settings for Hulu.

I have it set for H.265, yet every time I analyze something, H.264 is default selected.

Not sure how far back (version-wise) this may go, as I mostly download from Disney+.

Yes, a minor inconvenience, but if doing a number of movies, each one has to be changed to H.265, as I want 4K when possible.

ADDED: Ok, went back to 7034, and it’s the same, so I’m not sure, as I did not download much from Hulu, if SF ever honered the VIP settings.

ADDED #2: Ok, went back to 7030, and that honors the VIP settings for Hulu.

ADDED #3: I also noticed there is no setting for EAC3 or AAC in VIP settings for Hulu, but 7030 defaults to EAC3; the other newest versions tested default to AAC.

Unfortunately I am so limited to providers because of money, and I mostly have the time on weekends to test.
But what I can test, I have been doing …

I MIGHT get Netflix back for a month, as it’s over $20/m. I have it on pause till July 18, as it saved me money for a month.

I was also advised to try Hulu content through the Disney+ module and will see how much time I have to do that.
I mostly am interested in movies.

The settings do work for the Disney+ module.

I downloaded Scrubs from Disney+. Since it is only available in SDR I switched from DV+HDR10+ to SDR- H.265. And I noticed the same. I have got H.264

Were you able to get h265 before? The h265-10 option got lost at least a year ago.

Seems we are to get Hulu content through Disney+ module.

I think I did get H265 Huku, don’t think Hulu give h265 HDR10 option.
