App won't launch (stuck in Dock) on M4 Mac

Hi,

I am having a critical issue with StreamFab for Mac after updating to the latest version 7.0.3.8.

[System Specifications]

Device: Mac mini (Apple M4)
OS: macOS Tahoe 26.5.2
Memory: 16 GB
StreamFab Version: 7.0.3.8 (Apple Silicon version / StreamFab_Mac_M1)

[Symptoms]
When I launch the app, the icon appears in the Dock but the main window never opens. The application immediately freezes, and I cannot even close it normally. I have to force quit (Option + Command + Esc) the app every time; otherwise, it prevents my Mac from shutting down.

I start off by saying I am not a Mac user.

SF made 2 versions for Mac.

If neither work you need an Mac expert to help figure out why.
as far as i read at least one should work.

Look also into clearing the temp folder and if not then finding the cache folder and delete that.
I also woukd assume you could uninstall and install again like for the Windows version,

I have been having the same / similar problem:
Device: MacBook Pro(Apple M1 Max)

Memory: 64 GB
StreamFab Version: 7.0.3.8 (Apple Silicon version / StreamFab_Mac_M1)

Same symptoms - icon appears in Dock with the ‘open’ indicator (dot below icon). But clicking on the icon does not open the app window. However, something I stumbled across was that I minimized all of my other open apps and there was the SF app! I could interact with it, but as soon as I tried to change functions/pages (i.e. Home Screen to Downloads tab), my Chrome web browser popped back up with my open tabs. Nothing about / for SF. If I minimize Chrome window again, I see the SF app but any attempt to do anything in the app causes my Chrome browser to reappear and cover the SF app window.

Is the SF internal browser a Chrome implementation? Is there a setting that I can check/edit/disable that might be causing this?

I have deleted the SF app in the Applications folder and reinstalled with the same symptoms but have not performed a full and thorough uninstall of SF and was hoping to find another fix before doing that.
