Paramount failing to obtain decryption key for UHD

All of the files I select from Paramount+ will not grab UHD. I can add them in the pop up window, but when trying to process after pressing download they fail. The error is:

Failed to obtain the decryption key, please contact us for assistance.

I see also H265 offer for Novacaine ..
.. but South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut
don’t offer me H265 in US with P+ Premium using SF 7040

Got the decryption key error also, trying to get South Park BLUC in 4K/DV.
US, legal account, noVPN, Google DNS. 7040SF.

I could see in the log that you selected it ..
.. but that doesn’t change my offer
-> I had to generate a new cookie

It also fails for me with 7031-7040 and the best DoVi/HDR10+ offer ..
.. so it seems it has nothing to do with the SF version.

The latest daily episodes of “The Young And The Restless” fail to download with an error message “Failed to obtain the decryption key, contact us ……”. Older episodes can be downloaded, so I think the encryption has changed recently .I have tried signing in and out of Paramount Plus, deleting the log and temp file folders many times. Using latest build 7.0.4.0.

I get the same http error 500 as here

Might not be your issue; but I often find “latest episodes” do not download, until several days or week old.

If it helps the dev can add Sheriff Country and Fire Country to the mix of Paramount+ series throwing this error.
