Spotify downloading music video audio instead of original song

I’ve already disabled “Music Videos” in settings as suggested in other threads, but the same thing keeps happening for most tracks with videos.

For example, this song shows as 2:49 on MusicFab, but the downloaded file ends up being 2:59.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

ikk1118 I can confirm it—the audio in the video version starts at 2:59. Using this link, it worked for me at 2:49.

Thank you for the link, that version was correct! However, I’m experiencing the exact same issue with many other songs that have videos.

Since it’s happening so frequently, do you know how to fix it overall?

ikk1118 Unfortunately, I have no idea. Disabling videos and Canvas in Spotify’s settings doesn’t help in this case. I had already disabled them. I think only the developer can do something about it.
