Peacock No UHD Options

New versions of SF do not provide 4K DL options (there is no H265 selections). If you want to DL 4K You’ll have to go back to x64_7037. This version will give you good audio sync which the newer versions won’t, x64)7038 and newer.

Yeah, I see the same thing. Had to go back to 7037 to get H265 and 4K.

Same here. Was able to get OBSESSION in 4K prior to update to 7040.

So when can we expect a fix so we don’t have to use 7037?

I HATE going back versions, and anything after 7037, there is NO h265 and 4K.

What I am going to try now is adding to the queue in 7037 and using 7041 because in 7037 we lost the download enhancements of 20%, which came around 7040.
(New: Optimized the download engine, improving download speed by approximately 20%.)

Apparently there is issues using 7037 with stuff just released sometime after Pressure (2026) came out so Peacock has made some changes as well.

I am not up to testing; it could be possible. Hope after the weekend they take a long hard look at Peacock.

Others are encouraged to report it to SF feedback; it might speed things up after the weekend.

BTW: Checked the movie Pressure in 7037 and got 4K.

4k resolution is not showing as an option for download - Nobody, Kill Bill, King Fu Panda. Settings are set to have 4k downloads. anyone else having the same issues?

thanks beefarts! apparently others were having the same issue so, I guess maybe you should keep to yourself. I was able to download Nobody in 4k on July 8 2026 and Kill Bill on May 22 2026 but not August 1 2026 under 7042. guess it was software issue and not me not actually searching for the issue….

Can anyone find 4K movies on Peacock?
The Men in Black, which where in 4K are gone, and every movie now that I had a chance to check via browser do NOT show as being in 4K.

Stan001 the way I do it is check on justwatch for new stuff added to Peacock, while it won’t say 4k for Peacock, just chck other providers- if none provide a title in 4k, the likelihood of it being 4k on Peacock is virtually zero, but if it’s available in 4k on others, you have a better than 50% chance of it being 4k on Peacock

Yeah, I don’t get that. But I have to go back to 7037 and have it analyze to find what’s 4K.
There is NOTHING on the Peacock website saying 4K UHD or anything.
Glad I got The Men in Black movies in 4K before they disappeared.

The one Mario movie is 4K and Obsession is 4K via SF 7037.

It’s a real pain, as you say. JustWatch won’t say “4K” for Peacock.

Ok, is it worth putting no 4K unless we use 7037 in trouble reports?

I don’t think it has helped so far with Hulu and Pluto.

It’s getting tiresome using a broken StreamFab.

If Streamfab has given up on the Hulu module, they should say so.
But at same time Hulu is still selling separate subscriptions.
But if you pay an extra dollar, you can get both Hulu and Disney+, and Hulu content works so far in the Disney+ module.

BTW: Can’t get Animal House to download at all in 7037; 7037 gives an error, so I will have to go to 7042.

ALSO: if people get the sad cat, they need to log out and back in. I finally got the sad cat, and that’s what I had to do.
